Testimonials

I do not know where or how to begin, however I will attempt a few words express my heart felt and sincere gratitude for all that the staff did for my grandmother. Not only did they cater for her basic needs they clearly went much further and offered her a loving and safe environment in her final years. These fond memories will be with me always.

Please pass on my gratitude to all involved in her care, including day and night staff, cleaners, cooks and everyone else at Thorneycroft. Further, I was extremely touched to see you along with a number of staff at her funeral; this meant so much to all of us. She was a source of great joy in my life and I will miss her love, laughter and chat but above all her loving and caring nature. Thank you once again. 21st June 2013

Your staff are always friendly and welcoming. It is a pleasure to visit and I enjoy the peace and quiet of Howden House. I am amazed at the progress [the individual] has made. You are doing a wonderful job! 18th June 2013

Our foster son could not be in better care, every member of staff at Howden House is of the highest quality. 18th June 2013

My wife and I have noticed a vast difference in the behaviour of our grandson which shows us that the skill of the staff at Howden House treating the condition of Autism is more than we thought we would ever see. 18th June

Just to say what an absolute credit the staff are at Dean View Villas, residents are very well cared for and it’s a pleasure to visit. Valuable and important information is always at hand. Thank you! 13th May 2013

First of all the whole family would like to thank you on Mum's behalf for the tender care and compassion you showed her during her long stay with you. We never dreamt in July 2004 when she joined you at Charnwood Lodge that Mum would still be with us all these years later. 8th May 2013

I want to say thank you to everyone who has been involved with looking after my Uncle for the last few years of his life. We all know what a struggle it was for him to give up his independence when he had a stroke. Indeed the first few months at Pemberton Fold were difficult ones for him, the staff and for me too. However, when he realised he could no longer live on his own, he really settled in singing and was well contented.  My memories of him pottering in the garden, joining in parties and celebrations in the early years of his stay are all good ones.

A private man and fiercely protective of his personal independence - this often made it difficult for him to accept help in his daily routine from the staff. He stopped coming out of his room when his mates passed away or left Pemberton Fold. He remained cheerful with his TV, paper and the staff popping in and out to chat to him. A grand age 92 and mercifully not too much suffering at the end. Thank you so much. 3rd May 2013

I'm writing to put on record my family's deep thanks for the care and support that has been given to my mother whilst under assessment in the Rose Mill Unit of Pemberton Fold.

During the time spent there being assessed nothing was too much trouble for the staff and despite working in what at times must be very challenging circumstances, the staff were always polite and did there job with a smile on their faces. They are a credit to Pemberton Fold. 3rd May 2013

Our Aunt was admitted into Amberleigh House Aintree in February 2013. We would like to say how wonderful all the staff are there caring for her needs. She was in another home and in a dementia assessment unit before that that caused her to go down hill quite a bit.

Whilst being at Amberleigh House we can see a remarkable difference in how she interacts with us and how contented and settled she has become. The home is wonderful and all staff should be rewarded immensely for all there dedication and hard work - we go in quite a bit to see our aunt and the care we see is exceptional.

We have visited lots of homes whilst waiting for a place for our Aunt at Amberleigh House so we do know what we are talking about when we say a massive thank as the care here is a above and beyond anything that we have seen. Your staff are wonderful and a credit to your organisation. 26th April 2013
